Love plants? Join the Adams County Master Gardeners! You'll receive training from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on all things horticulture, information you can use in your home garden and yard. In exchange, we ask you to share what you learn with others through volunteer opportunities that fit your interests.

       

Would you like to earn County Medals for your accomplishments in different project areas? Is your 4-H Age of 8-18, then you are Eligible for Adams County Medals. Youth 4-H Age 18-18 are also eligible for Additional Awards like 4-H Scholarships, Outstanding Youth Leader, Being an Adams County Golden Clover or via for Outstanding Tribland 4-Her. Open to Adams County 4-H Youth. You just need to complete the Adams County Award Application(s) and submit them by the deadline.
Are you interested in growing produce and selling at farmer’s markets, direct consumer sales or with Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) groups? Here is your chance to gain valuable information from Nebraska Extension educators and fellow growers across four different locations in Nebraska in September and October.

70th Annual Nebraska State Range Judging Contest Held in Chase County

IMPERIAL, Neb. — Chase County hosted the 70th Annual Nebraska State Range Judging Contest, marking a milestone for one of the state’s longest-running educational contests. Organized by the Nebraska Range Judging Committee and local partners from the NRD, NRCS, and Nebraska Extension, six area contests culminated in a state contest aimed at promoting range management and conservation practices among Nebraska’s youth.
